The Alexander Technique enables people to use themselves with ease and self-awareness.By gently guiding with hands and words,the Alexander teacher encourages a pupil into a more balanced state of being.Over a course of lessons a pupil learns the skills needed to alleviate their own discomfort.By gently bringing subconscious postural and mental habits up to a fully conscious level,the pupil is then able to help themselves break the cycle of repeated behaviour.
