What is the history of Reflexology?

Reflexology has been practised since 2500BC by the Ancient Egyptians and by the Indians and Chinese for centuries.  The complimentary therapy we know today comes from America.

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a holistic treatment using a non-invasive therapy with finger and thumb pressure applied to help stimulate the corresponding parts of the body as mapped on the feet.  It helps produce a state of balance and harmony within the body stimulating the whole person, (body, mind and spirit).  Which in turn helps the body to heal itself both physically and emotionally.

What happens during a Reflexology treatment?

After a full health consultation has been taken.  Feet are soaked in warm water to relax the muscles.  With the client comfortable feet are massaged along with a full reflexology treatment, stimulating and releasing the blockages along the body’s pathways.  Finishing with a warm-down massage.  With gentle waking up and a glass of water.

Take notice of any changes ready for next treatment.

How often do I need treatment?

The more severe the condition, the more treatment needed.  But usually three close together will greatly
benefit.  Followed by maintenance treatments to maintain progress.  Or as often as want.
